We’ve been clients of Brent’s for years and at the time we signed up for his concierge service, we had no idea what a fantastic program it was, and will be, for us throughout the rest of our lives. We already knew that Brent provides excellent services, is extremely knowledgeable and explains things very clearly and thoroughly.  His tangible and intangible qualities really hit home recently when I had an urgent need to better understand my parents estate planning documents at a time critical point in which our family was going to have to make the heartbreaking decision to move my father into a skilled nursing memory center for the remainder of his life.  This was an extremely stressful and emotional period for the family.  

 

I contacted Brent and he immediately made time to review their estate plan and then made himself available to meet with me and my brother to explain it to us.  He also gave us advice and tips about long term care planning / Medicaid rules and recommended we meet again prior to that point. We walked away from the meeting fully educated and ready to proceed.  In this time when people are so busy, Brent demonstrated his core values and commitment to his clients. Amazing!

 

The immediate action to make time for us in a time of need and provide us a clear, thorough understanding of their plan, as well as the emotional support to know Brent was there for us at any time, was invaluable.  When I relayed the information to my mother, she was astonished that Brent did this for our family.  I still am so appreciative and impressed.  Now, when I think of Brent, my mind immediately says, “angel on earth”.  

He is so much more than a highly competent lawyer and I have recommended him to many people.

Our recent visit to the Law Offices of Brent Williams-Ruth (December 30, 2020) was a great experience! We’ve been clients of Brent’s for 4 or 5 years. He knows this stuff inside and out. Very clear. Very easy to understand. Very caring. Got our Wills, POA’s durable power of attorney, heck, I don’t know it all, but I know Brent does, and I know I’m good. He gives a binder with easy to access tabs and has a copy on file in case I don’t have access. Very reasonable pricing! Passionate about his craft. He’s got our back, for sure!

I am not one to post many reviews but wanted to share an experience we recently had for those you considering making (or updating) an official Last Will and Testament, Power of Attorney or Estate Plan. We should have done it years ago but to be honest it had always been on our “it takes time and money so not now” list. It was convenient and the costs were extremely reasonable...

I made an appointment…ON a Saturday morning… AT our house! Yes guys, he will travel to you! Anywhere you want to meet! I am thankful we opted to go through an actual attorney (not print out the online version) because there is a lot more to it than I expected with the taxes, WA state law, the check of a box being the difference between our kids being apply to qualify for student loans, etc….we had no idea. Brent educated us and shared personal experiences to help us understand and make the right decisions for our family....

I highly recommend him and love that he is a local entrepreneur! Great guy (the kind that stopped practicing corporate law because it didn’t make him happy at the end of the day kind!) to give your business to.
